03 Dec 2018 | Camilla Suarez

When Jannatul Ferdaus Oishee was crowned Miss World Bangladesh, little did she know that she would become the second ever woman to represent Bangladesh in Miss World 2018 and the first ever to be one of the Top 30 finalists? At just 18 years of age, she is making history by proving her worth and showing the entire world that she is no less than the other delegates.

The official Miss World Organization took to their social media and quoted her saying, “I am very proud of the history of my country and proud to be an ambassador for Bangladesh. This is only the second time Bangladesh has competed at Miss World and the first time making top 30." The Organization seemed smitten by her efficiency and popularity in Miss World this year and is very sure that she will be able to make an even better and more concrete mark in the finale that will be taking place on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.

Jannatul Ferdaus Oishee aims to help children who are suffering from the medical condition, especially with autism. She further added, "I am so grateful for this opportunity. I want to go ahead, build and get better. I don't know how far I'll go in this competition and what's going to happen in the grand finale. But I am very happy that I have represented my country.” Jannatul is truly a very humble and worthy candidate for the crown.

The Bangladeshi diva is going to pursue her undergraduate degree very soon, as she just graduated from school. She has been a very active contributor to her community as she has been advocating for the prevention of child marriage in her hometown and has been very vocal about the issue of social deprivation experienced by citizens of her country.

Jannatul was crowned by Miss World Bangladesh 2017 Jessia Islam who represented Bangladesh in Miss World 2017. With Jannatul’s delegacy, Bangladesh has already made history, and Angelopedia is pretty sure, she will go much further and make her country prouder.
