As the much-awaited Beauty with a Purpose competition was held hours ago in Miss World 2018, Nepal enjoyed a proud moment as Miss World Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada won the prestigious award and secured her place in the Top 30 delegates.
It’s a double win for the gorgeous beauty and her country as earlier in the day she was presented with another fast track award of Miss Multimedia. While she lost in the Head to Head Challenge Top 10 competition, she did not lose hope and made sure she came back stronger and won not one but two prestigious awards!
The Top 5 contestants who made it to Beauty With a Purpose competition were Miss World Indonesia 2018 Alya Nurshabrina, Miss World Mexico 2018 Vanessa Ponce, Miss World Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Miss World New Zealand 2018 Jessica Tyson and Miss World Vietnam 2018 Tr?n Ti?u Vy.
Before Top 5 were announced, the competition was held between 25 shortlisted contestants whose videos were played which made everyone humble and taken aback by the situations faced by people in various aspects of life. Out of the 25, only 12 made it to the next cut (other than Top 5) - Miss World Chile 2018 Anahi Hormazabal, Miss World Jamaica 2018 Kadijah Robinson, Miss World Kenya 2018 Finali Galaiya,Miss World Lebanon 2018 Mira Al-Toufaily, Miss World Malaysia 2018 Larissa Ping Liew, Miss World Panama 2018 Solaris Barba and Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2018 Ysabel Bisnath.
