It is amazing to see the beauty queens take such keen interest in the projects and advocacies of the pageant. Recently, Miss World Guyana 2016 Nuriyyih Gerrard, along with the founder of One Act Foundation Guyana, launched the Guyana’s Social and Emotional Learning program (S.E.L) with a social gathering at the Botanical Gardens.

Now, the reigning Miss World British Virgin Islands Kadia Turnbull joined Kassandra Malone and Sasha Wintz, Miss World BVI 2013 and 2015 - to stand in support of those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Kadia stands in support of the cause. During the march, the beauty queen echoed the mantra of "Different, not less".
