At the conclusion of the finale of the Bulgarian national beauty pageant held this year as the Miss World & Universe Bulgaria 2017 at Rainbow Plaza in Sofia, Bulgaria on 14th September 2017, Veronika Stefanova was crowned Miss World Bulgaria 2017. She succeeds Miss World Bulgaria 2016 - Galina Mihaylova and will now represent Bulgaria in Miss World 2017 pageant to be held in Sanya, China this November.
Veronika hails from Zemen, a town in Pernik Province, Western Bulgaria. She is 25 years of age and is a graduate of political science from New Bulgarian University. She is not new to the pageant world and has earlier won titles of Miss Tourism Europe 2015, Miss Motoring 2014 and first runner-up in World Beauty Queen 2015.
The competition was organized by Veneta Krusteva, who has the distinction of being the first Bulgarian girl to represent her country in both Miss Universe and Miss World pageants, and Bock Star Models Agency, who are the official representative of Miss World and Miss Universe for Bulgaria.
