Hanna Begovic was crowned Miss World Canada 2018 at the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss World Canada 2018 beauty pageant held on last night in Toronto, where fifty-five beauties from Canada from diverse cultures competed for the national title. Hanna succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Canada 2017 Cynthia Menard, and will now represent Canada in Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.
The class of Miss World Canada 2018 included -
First Runner-up: Alyssa Boston.
Second Runner-up: Alice Li
While Alyssa won the title of Miss Supranational Canada 2018, Alice was crowned Miss Intercontinental Canada 2018 and will now represent Canada in Miss Supranational 2018, and Miss Intercontinental 2018 beauty pageants. Top 6 contestants at the finale also included Melissa Young, Kristen Victoria Patterson, and Mariana Sanchez.
Top 15 finalists also included Kalista Gauvreau, Maneet Kaur Chatha, Rebecca Crouse, Adrienne Elena, Natasha Smith, Jasmine Prince, Natalie Carriere, Elvira Ramadani and Tiffany Anna. Other contestants who made it to Top 20 at the finale were Kansas King, Beatrice Andrada, Erin Chapman, Amanda Ficara and Tina Khadivi.
Hanna was crazy about princesses in her childhood. She loved being glamorous and wearing sparkles of all kinds and playing with makeup. That love for makeup and glitter and costumes brought her to the world of dance. She started taking ballet when she was 3 years old, fell in love with the way music made her feel, and continued to train in all styles of dances as she grew. Hanna’s passion only grew from there. In 2016, she became a competitive dancer and an assistant dance teacher as well.
She has been a part of the pageant world for quite some time now as she was also crowned Miss Supranational Canada 2016, and went on to represent Canada in Miss Supranational 2016 international beauty pageant held in Poland. And her experience representing internationally did help her to impressively present herself in front of the jury and win the crown of Miss World Canada 2018.
So far, Canada has not won any Miss World title.
