Susanne Næss Guttorm crowned Miss Universe Norway 2018

Miss Universe Norway 2018 Winner Susanne Naess Guttorm

 

At the finale of the Miss Norway 2018 national beauty pageant concluded last night, Susanne Næss Guttorm emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss Universe Norway 2018.

The 21-year-old beauty succeeds Miss Universe Norway 2017 Kaja Caroline Kojan, and will now represent Norway in Miss Universe 2018 competition to be held later this year.

Susanne currently lives in Oslo where she is pursuing her education to become a construction engineer. For here, the year as a Miss Norway finalist has been an educational, fun and hectic year.

She was also the winner of People’s choice award, and was also part of Angelopedia’s top favourites for the crown. At the same event, Madelen Michelsen was crowned Miss World Norway 2018, Helene Abildsnes became the first runner-up and Rebecca Bjørk was adjudged the second runner-up. Other contestants competing at the finale were Nadia Helena Gustavsen, Imen Myren Habes, Ina Kollset and Sandra Afriyie Tito.

Besides sending representatives to Miss Universe 2018 and Miss World 2018 competitions, Miss Norway organization is also expected to appoint one of the runners-up to represent Norway in Miss International 2018 beauty pageant.

Mona Grudt is so far the only beauty from Norway to have won the Miss Universe title. She did so in the year 1990 when she was crowned Miss Universe 1990 at the 39th edition of the Miss Universe pageant held in Los Angeles, USA.
