Nashaira Belisa Balentien was crowned as the new Miss World Curacao 2022 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, 29th October 2022 in Willemstad as she became the official representative of Curacao at Miss World 2022.
Nashaira Belisa Balentien is 25 years of age and a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and future lawyer. Not new to the pageantry, Nashaira previously held the title Miss Universe Curacao 2017. She went on to represent Curacao in Miss Universe 2017 which was held in USA but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 16.
Nashaira is quite passionate about giving back to the society. She started a foundation in 2013 through which she has been organizing projects in Curacao, Colombia, and some other African countries. Pageant House Limited, her own company, is actively involved in philanthropy through the foundation.
She succeeded Miss World Curacao 2021 Alvinette Soliana for the crown. Curacao is yet to win the Miss World pageant since joining in 1975.
