Miss World Guam 2018 held their grand coronation night on 15th October 2018 where Gianna Sgambelluri was crowned the new national winner. She will now represent Guam in Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China where Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar of India will crown her successor.

Gianna defeated six other contestants to achieve the feat. She is 18 years of age from the city of Barrigada. Gianna works for a charity named Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association. She often takes to her social media to encourage people to take up volunteering activities as well.

Gianna is bilingual, with the ability to speak fluently in English and Chamorro languages. During her free time, she plays rugby, goes spear fishing and volunteers as a cultural art instructor. Gianna completed her schooling from St. Francis School in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

Gianna was crowned by her predecessor Miss World Guam 2017 Destiny Cruz who was one the Top 20 contestants in the Talent round of Miss World 2017 where she represented Guam.
