The Miss World Guinea organization hosted its coronation ceremony for Miss World Guinea 2021 in early October, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent the country at the upcoming edition of Miss World pageant. Nene Mariama Saran Bah was crowned as Miss World Guinea 2021 at the end of the event finale. She succeeds Miss World Guinea 2017 Asmaou Diallo for the title as the country maintained an absence from the competition for four years.

The 26-year-old activist champions for various causes. She calls herself a “human” above all things. True to her being, she has raised awareness campaigns against genital mutilation and violence against women. And continuously works to provide help to disadvantaged children.

Standing 179cm tall, this commerce graduate is no stranger to the pageant world. Previously, she was placed as the second runner-up at Miss Guinea 2019 and also won the Miss Guinea Canada 2014 title.

Sharing her thoughts on her social media, she wrote,” It is with a heart filled with gratitude and pride that I share with you all my participation in the 70th edition of the Miss World 2021 election in Puerto Rico. After four years of absence, Guinea will once again defend its reputation of having the most beautiful women in Africa and why not in the world, in my person. Miss World before being the coronation of a queen, is for me the crowning of a little girl's dream!”

She continued,” With my experience in beauty pageants, my boundless determination, and your support, I have faith in my ability to hoist the Guinean flag high to the top. This encounter with the world constitutes a unique opportunity, both to make our culture and our values ??shine on a prestigious platform, but also to put beauty at the service of a cause which is for me that of combating ignorance around epilepsy.”

Nene Mariama Saran Bah will represent Guinea at the 70th Miss World competition to be held in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor on December 16,2021 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot. Guinea is still to win the Miss World title and trusts in Nene Mariama Saran Bah to put it on the international map of pageantry.

Congratulations to the newly crowned queen!
