Nunzia Amato crowned Miss Mundo Italia 2018

Miss Mundo Italia 2018 (Miss World Italy 2018) crowned another beauty queen as the finale of the pageant concluded last night. The ceremony was filled with pomp and show, just the kind that a queen deserves. Miss Mundo Italia 2017 Conny Notarstefano crowned her successor, Miss Mundo Italia 2018, Nunzia Amato at the end of the coronation night of the 201 edition of the Miss Mundo Italia pageant.

Nunzia beat 49 other contestants to win her spot as the representative of Italy at the Miss World 2018 pageant, where Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will crown her successor. Nunzia was followed up by Veronica Avanzolini, and Erica De Matteis were adjudged the first and the second runners-up respectively. Wei Wei Lin was adjudged the fourth runner-up and Aylin Nica finished the fifth place.

Miss Mundo Italia 2018, Nunzia Amato, is 21 years old and was born in San Gennaro Vesuviano. Nunzia stands tall at 180 cm and has striking green eyes, brown hair. She is studying first year of Law, but dreams of becoming an actress and model. 

"I still cannot believe what I'm experiencing. It was something fantastic. I love to make new experiences, meet new people and compare myself with them. Honestly I did not expect to reach this goal,” Nunzia exclaimed after her win.

About the forthcoming Miss World 2018 competition, Nunzia stands confident, and said, "It will be a fantastic adventure, from which I will be able to learn a lot. I want to be part of the entertainment world and I am sure that the experience of Miss World can teach me many useful things for my future ".

The 2018 edition of Miss World Italy was filled with artistic quality. Emotions also rode high in the contest, and not just of the contestants but also the spectators. Led by Stefano De Martino, in his first time as a presenter, and the beautiful model Laura Brioschi, the final was opened by a show put up by the fifty finalists who danced to "A sky full of stars" by Coldplay.
