Miss World Laos 2018 hosted its grand coronation night on 15th September 2018 where Kadoumphet Xaiyavong was crowned the new queen. Miss World Laos 2017 Tonkham Phonchanheuang crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.
Twenty gorgeous ladies competed for the national title and the opportunity to represent Laos in Miss World 2018. Kadoumphet Xaiyavong performed outstandingly well at the competition. With her gorgeous face and charming personality, she won over everyone’s heart at the competition.
The twenty ladies who were competing for the title are - Viengsin Vorlaboud, Phoutthasong Nith, Sounita Xaisana, Poui Ketmany, Nitsakhone Keopasert, Lomnaow Phommachan, Thipphachan Keohavong, Melaly Phanthavong, Chintana Khidaphone, Thipsavanh Manydone, Linda Chidtavong, Nelamith Soumounthong, Kadoumphet Xaiyavong, Yardfar Phommavongxay, Warnta Sayyaphet, Souphavy Phommachak, Duangthip Phothisompharn, Santhany Saimanyvan, Chittaphone Inthalak and Saengsavanh Syhalath.
The Top 5 at the Miss World Laos 2018 competition included - Saengsavanh Syhalath, Santhany Saimanyvan, Duangthip Phothisompharn, Kadoumphet Xaiyavong and Sounita Xaisana.
At the finale four other titles were awarded to the contestants - Miss International Laos 2018, Miss Supranational Laos 2018, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2018 and Miss Tourism Laos 2018.
Laos is yet to pioneer its win at the coveted Miss World pageant. Miss World Laos 2017 Tonkham Phonchanheuang represented Laos in Miss World 2017 but unfortunately could not place in the Top rankings. Do you think the newly crowned queen will win the first ever Miss World pageant?
