At the grand finale of Miss World Laos 2018 held on 15th September 2018, Santhany Saimanyvan was crowned the new Miss Supranational Laos 2018. She will now represent Laos at Miss Supranational 2018 to be held on 7th December 2018 in Municipal Sports and Recreation Center (MOSIR), Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.

Santhany Saimanyvan was crowned by Miss Supranational Laos 2017 Mungk Kadada. Laos was supposed to have their big debut in Miss Supranational 2017, but unfortunately the nation withdrew from the competition.

Santhany is 25 years old and stands tall with a height of 169 cm. She was in the Top 5 in Miss World Laos after which she earned the prestigious title of Miss Supranational Laos 2018. Santhany works as a flight attendant for Lao Air and along with that she is also a model and an actress. She is also the CEO of SSS Agency.

Santhany is no stranger to the pageant world as she has won the title of Miss Laos Tourism Ambassador 2015. With her prior experience, she will be able to handle the pressure on the stage with ease and outdo many of the other contestants.

The event also saw the crowning of Miss World Laos 2018 Kadoumphet Xaiyavong along with Miss International Laos 2018, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International Laos 2018 and Miss Tourism Laos 2018 which qualifies them to represent Laos at Miss World 2018, Miss International 2018, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2018 and Miss Tourism World 2018.
