Annie Evans becomes the official ambassador for Parnell

Annie Evans was crowned Miss World NZ & Oceania 2017 last year. Her love for the city of Auckland was evident even throughout her journey of the Miss World NZ & Oceania pageant. Evans loves Auckland because of the beauty it holds and the magic at every corner.

Parnell is an upmarket suburb in Auckland, New Zealand. It is one of New Zealand's most affluent suburbs, consistently ranked within the top three wealthiest, and is often billed as Auckland's "oldest suburb" since it dates from the earliest days of the European settlement of Auckland in 1841.

Recently Annie Evans announced her association with the suburb, by posting on her Instagram account, that she had become the official ambassador of the suburb.

Parnell has a lot of charm to itself, as will soon be prominent by the beauty queen’s association with the town. The suburb boasts of good food, fashion, design, interiors, and art.

It also has a lot of history to it. It is characterised by its mix of tree-lined streets with large estates; redeveloped industrial zones with Edwardian townhouses and 1920s bay villas; and its hilly topography that allows for ever present views of the port, the Waitemata Harbour, Rangitoto Island and the Auckland Domain. To its west lies the Auckland Domain, to the south Newmarket, and to the north the Ports of Auckland.
