22 years old Nicaraguan beauty Yumara López who represented Nicaragua at the Miss World 2014 pageant died on Monday, June 20’ 2016 after battling with Brain Cancer. The former Miss Worl Nicaragua was admitted in Alejandro Dávila Bolaños Hospital in Managua.

According to sources, the first symptoms of the disease appeared eight weeks after Yumara Lopez represented her country at the Miss World pageant held in London. Excessive headache, dizziness and blurred vision made her undergo various medical tests and examination, which finally revealed Brain Cancer. Yumara’s struggle through this grave disease started in April 2014, when Salvadoran doctors diagnosed second stage of brain cancer.

Yumara wanted to fight back the illness and came out a strong example for many suffering from the same pain. However, she ultimately lost the battle to death. Miss World Organisation and others shared their condolence message on twitter mourning the death of the young former beauty queen.
