Anna Henry crowned as Miss World Northern Ireland 2017

The lovely 22 year old Anna Henry, a Renewable Energy engineering student impressed all with her charm and talent and won the prestigious title of Miss World Northern Ireland 2017 on 15th May 2017. The stunner defeated other 23 contestants to acquire the magnificent crown from previous title holder, Emma Carswell. The amazing girl is a final year student at Ulster University. She is studying renewable Energy Engineering and has won several Irish dancing medals.

The gala coronation was hosted by Q Radio breakfast anchor Stephen Clements and former Miss Northern Ireland and popular TV presenter, Zoe Salmon Corrie. The Runner’s up on the night were Rachel Jones aged 21 from Lisburn who came second in the competition and Fionnula Mooney aged 20 was placed third. 
 
The winner will receive an all-embracing prize package worth thousands of pounds including an all-expenses paid trip to Miss World, a Fiat 500 car from Donnelly Group, a new designer wardrobe from Blush and beauty treatments during the year. It is something the gorgeous lady would cherish forever. 
 
 
On handling the title, the gorgeous winner of Miss World Northern Ireland 2017 said, “I am absolutely delighted to wear the Insanity Tan Miss Northern Ireland crown and be given the opportunity to represent Northern Ireland in this way! Taking part in the contest has been such an immense experience and I never thought I would come this far. I’ve always looked up to previous Miss Northern Ireland winners, so I hope to follow in their footsteps and become a positive role model for other local girls. The competition has already been such a life changing experience and I have made friends for life. Winning this title is undoubtedly life-changing and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me!”
