Miss World Ontario 2020 held its finale night on 2nd February 2020 where the 19-year-old beauty Hayley Bowdery was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Ontario in Miss World Canada 2020. She bested forty-one other contestants to win the state title.

Hayley Bowdery gave an incredible performance at the state pageant as she was handed over the crown by her predecessor. Bowdery isn't new to the pageant world as she has competed in many events since the age of 15. In 2015, she competed in the Miss Teen Canada pageant and placed in the top 10. On being crowned Miss World Ontario 2020, she revealed her emotions as she stated, “It was very nerve wracking to be honest. I am your new Miss World Ontario 2020! I’m speechless. My heart is so full from the love and support I have received from everyone. I truly could not have done it without any of you.

Hayley is going to use her win to raise awareness on social issues that matter to her as she stated, “Pageants give you a platform to voice your opinion on certain issues.” She is open to working with local businesses and organizations in the community to help her on her journey in terms of sponsorships or publicity events. Bowdery is a model with International Professional Entertainment Network in Toronto (IPEN).

Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
