Miss Panama World 2017 is walking on its road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on 4th July 2017. The venue for the finale is the iconic Teatro Anayansi Convention Center. There are a total of 20 contestants competing for the title this year, and only one will earn the prestigious chance to represent the country at Miss World 2017 pageant.

The finalists will compete through swimsuit and evening gown competition to clinch the coveted title. Out of the 20 semi-finalists, 10 will be selected (9 contestants with the highest scores by the judges, and1 by public voting) who will further compete for the title.

The 9 finalists will then go through a Q&A round to make it to the Top 5 finalists. This year, the contestants will also have to put forward their individual social projects, and one of them will be selected by the judges as the “Best Social Project” by the judges and public votes.

The winner of Miss Panama World 2017 will represent Panama at the Miss World 2017 to be held in China.  Miss World is one of the oldest beauty pageants amongst the Big 4 (four) international beauty pageants. The Miss World beauty pageant started in the year 1951, the idea of Miss World beauty pageant was conceptualized by late Eric Morley, the first edition of the Miss World beauty pageant was held in United Kingdom. Miss World is one of the most publicized beauty pageants alongside Miss Universe and Miss Earth pageants.
