Miss World Philippines 2018 was a grand affair where national queens were crowned who would go on to represent the Philippines in different beauty pageants. Among them was Katarina Rodriguez who is now preparing for Miss World 2018 to be held in Sanya, China on 8th December 2018.

From someone who didn’t believe in beauty pageants, to now becoming a nationally loved entity and representative in such a prestigious beauty pageant, Katarina is living her life to the fullest. She is also working very hard to prove herself worthy of the crown as preceding her is Miss World 2017 quarter-finalist, Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann.

Katarina, who is 26 years of age, is experienced when it comes to the pageant world as she was a participant in Binibining Pilipinas 2017 where she was one of the winners and then went on to become Miss Intercontinental – Philippines 2017.

Upon her departure, the official social media page of Miss World Philippines posted, “Off she goes! Miss World Philippines Katarina Rodriguez checks-in for her flight to Sanya, China via Guangzhou to clinch the country’s second blue crown. We are all behind you Katarina!!!”

Katarina is a very strong candidate in every way, be it about being physically fit, being socially aware or academically advanced as she has a double major in Business Management and Philosophy from the University De La Salle, Manila. She is also very active when it comes to social services and volunteering.

Katarina left for China on 10th November 2018 and was welcomed at the location along with the delegates of Haiti, Bahamas, Curacao, British Virgin Islands, Barbados, Bulgaria, and Italy and has already started proving herself for the finale night.
