The organization of Miss World Philippines had announced that the finale of Miss World Philippines 2020 will be held in the month of December where the divas from all over the country will compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent the Philippines at Miss World 2020. The organization will also crown the representative of the Philippines to Miss Supranational from this year.
The organization also announced that the participation of the previous title holders will also be allowed if they are eligible (age) and not crowned Miss World Philippines prior to this edition. With wish lists being prepared for the crown, Julie Ann Tarrayo has caught our attention for the title as she seems like an ideal contender for Miss World Philippines 2020 crown. Julie is 24-years-old and stands 175 cm tall and holds a degree in Tourism Management from Northwest Samar State University. She is a perfect combination of science and positivity who seems like a perfect candidate to represent the Philippines at international stage.
Julie is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was Miss Pintados 2018 and had mentioned, “I always remind myself to create from the mind. Success is science. I worked hard for it and I believe I can make it.” She was also placed at Top 10 Miss Bikini Philippines 2019 competition.
The diva describes her self as discipline, positive thinker, one who has faith in God, and caring towards others. She spends a lot of time taking care of her siblings showering them with love, support, and attention. She has grown up with the understanding of staying disciplined, value of time and use her voice and platform to spread awareness about children’s rights as she believes every child has the right for a balanced diet, adequate clothing, sufficient shelter, and proper medical attention.
In one of her interviews, she stated, “I always tend to look at the brighter side of life because I believe that what I think about I bring about. So, for me to attract positive vibration, I myself should be on a positive note as well,” she said. The stunning diva who has shown immense dedication towards representing the Philippines at international stage had once stated, “I had my fair share of uncertainties in this world. I’ve been through a lot but I don’t blame anyone nor question God why it happened to me. In fact, I am grateful that I’ve experienced them because if it weren’t for those things I wouldn’t be empowered and strong as I am now. Us women may be soft and fragile but we shouldn’t forget that we are born strong.”
Julie aspires to be a positive and impactful role model for the people in her community and is very passionate about it. If she deicides to participate, she can be a strong contender at Miss World Philippines 2020 and use the platform to advocate about her advocacy and making a positive change in the society.
