Miss World Philippines 2021 finale moved to 8th August 2021

The Miss World Philippines organization has recently announced that the coronation ceremony for the national pageant has been rescheduled from 25th July 2021 to 8th August 2021. The decision was taken after stricter quarantine measures were imposed in the country's capital region.

The organization made the announcement through their social media as they stated, "In compliance with the reimposition of the IATF's heightened GCQ restrictions, the Miss World Philippines Organization is rescheduling the upcoming Miss World Philippines coronation night originally scheduled this coming Sunday, July 25, at Okada, Manila to August 8, same venue."

KTX, which will stream the competition online, said in a Facebook post, “Miss World Philippines was just informed by Okada that the Office of the President came out today with a memorandum prohibiting mass gatherings and social events while NCR is on GCQ heightened restrictions starting today until July 31. Because of this, we were forced to postpone the coronation night until the heightened restriction is lifted."



The organization has announced the names of the 45 stunning divas who will be competing in the Miss World Philippines 2021 competition for eight crowns, including Miss World Philippines 2021, Miss Supranational Philippines 2021, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021, Miss Eco International Philippines 2021, Miss Multinational Philippines 2021, Miss Eco Teen International Philippines 2021, Miss Tourism Philippines 2021, and Miss Environment International Philippines 2021.

This year’s batch boasts of stunning and talented divas from all over the country who will be giving each other a tough competition for the crown. The winners will succeed Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee, Miss Eco Philippines 2019 Kelley Day, Miss Multinational Philippines 2019 Isabelle de Leon, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Maria Katrina Llegado, Miss Philippines Tourism 2019 Glyssa Leiann Perez, and Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2020 Roberta Angela Tamondong for the title.
