It’s the national pageant season and all the nations are gearing up to crown their representatives for the major international pageants. And, you should know that this year the competition on the international level is going to tough as most of the contenders this year are exceptionally talented and gorgeous. After, Colombia, Mexico and Russia, it was Sweden’s time to crown a stunner.
20 year old Hanna-Louise Haag Tuvér was crowned Miss World Sweden 2017 at the conclusion of the finale held on 16th April 2017. Hailing from Gävle, Hanna was among the front runners for the title. Hanna succeeds Miss World Sweden 2016 Emma Strandberg, and will now represent Sweden at the Miss World 2017 pageant to be held in December in China.
Miss World Sweden organized by Miss Queen of Scandinavia is a national pageant of Sweden that selects the Country's representative for Miss World. Currently, the pageant also selects Sweden's representatives for Miss Grand International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental and Top Model of the World.
Interestingly, this year, the Miss World will come up with a new format. The new format will include a greater emphasis on social media and interactivity throughout the 28-day festival. Also, Miss World is appointing New Silk Road Group (a leader in China's Fashion and Culture Industry) to operate the Miss World China Franchise. NSR will be a hosting partner for Miss World 2017 Final.
Miss World is no longer just a beauty pageant, it has emerged as a platform for young women from across the globe to showcase their talent, intelligence and work towards a greater good. Miss World pageant provides these contestants to display their culture and raise awareness towards various humanitarian causes, every year the pageant raises millions of pounds for charitable work under the banner of “Beauty with a Purpose” program.
