The coronation ceremony for 70th edition of Miss World i.e., Miss World 2020 is scheduled to take place in December 2021. Miss World organization decided to postpone the beauty pageant due to the ongoing scare of the pandemic coronavirus across the globe. Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
The decision benefitted the divas as they had ample amount of time to prepare themselves for the finale night. As of now 33 delegates from all over the world have been crowned/appointed to represent their respective country at Miss World 2020 stage.
The organization of Miss Vietnam hosted the grand finale of Miss Vietnam 2020 on 21st November 2020 at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Ðo Thi Hà was crowned Miss Vietnam 2020 and earned her chance to represent Vietnam at Miss World 2020. The winner succeeded Miss World Vietnam 2019 Luong Thùy Linh for the title.
Hailing from the city of Thanh Hoa, Ðo Thi Hà is 19-years-old and stands 175 cm tall. She is currently studying business law at National Economics University, Hanoi. Daughter to very supporting and loving parents who work as farmers and day labourers, Do Thi works as a calf-carrier and a server. She shows value for money and wants to make money with her sweat and efforts.
The young diva took some time off her education to focus on the competition but gives her education the utmost importance as she states, "I have to be a good child of my parents, be a good student of my teachers". Ðo Thi Hà's victory has made the people of her hometown proud. Her father, in an interview, revealed that the new Miss Vietnam 2020 was an obedient girl from a young age and achieved many impressive academic achievements.
In addition to studying, Ðo Thi Hà also likes to participate in volunteer movements and go to remote places with youthful enthusiasm. Perfecting herself every day, she is strong, determined, focused, and a very positive human who was able to impress everyone with her strong performance.
During the Miss Vietnam 2020 pageant, Do Thi Ha was asked the question, "If you become Miss Vietnam 2020, do you think you are a role model for young people?" She replied succinctly: "I think I bring all the necessary and sufficient elements of Vietnamese girls. I think whether I am a role model for young people or not, I always must inspire young people. I will do that.”
Ðo Thi Hà stands out with a face with soft and delicate lines and a shining smile, she is indeed a simple and pure beauty. This beauty with brains who just became a freshman of school quickly stepped up to the highest throne of the Miss Vietnam 2020 pageant and feels just like the way she performed at Miss Vietnam 2020, she will perform at Miss World 2020 stage too and make the people of Vietnam proud.
