Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2021, 33rd edition of the national pageant, is all set to be held on 18th September 2021. The pageant selects Nigeria’s representatives to Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Supranational. Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2019 Nyekachi Douglas, 23, of Rivers State, Nigeria will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Nyekachi Douglas was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2019 on 11th October 2019 at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Bayelsa, Nigeria. Her runner-up Olutosin Araromi of Taraba State was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2019 while second runner-up Pamela Ifejoku of Abuja State was crowned MBGN Tourism 2019 and third runner-up Akeela Aminu of Edo State was crowned MBGN Ecowas 2019.

Olutosin Araromi finished in the Top 20 at Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on December 8, 2019 while Nyekachi Douglas finished in the Top 5 at Miss World 2019 on December 14, 2019 and was also adjudged Miss World Africa 2019. On August 21, 2021, Aminu represented Nigeria at Miss Supranational 2021 but was unplaced. In 2020, Douglas and Araromi were not able to crown their respective successors due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
