At the splendid gala night of Bb Pilipinas 2016 held on April 17’ 2016 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines, Nicole Cordoves, Binibini 11 was crowned as Miss Grand International Philippines 2016 by the outgoing Bb. Pilipinas Grand International Parul Shah.
Nicole Cordoves will now represent Philippines at the forthcoming Miss Grand International 2016 pageant, where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss Grand International Claire Elizabeth Parker of Australia.
At the same event, Maxine Medina was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas 2016; Nichole Marie Manalo was crowned as Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016, Joanna Eden as Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational 2016, Jennifer Hammond as Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2016, and Kylie Verzosa as Bb. Pilipinas International 2016. Angelica Alita (Binibini 38) was adjudged as the first runner up while Jehza Mae Huelar (Binibini 37) finished as the second runner up.
Nicole Cordoves is 23 years old and hails from Metro Manila. The Pinay beauty is currently working at the Department of Finance. She is also an active member of Iris Philippines, a non-governmental organization that is geared towards helping women and children.
The beauty queen is not new to the world of pageantry as she was crowned Miss Chinatown Philippines 2014, but later resigned from the title.
