Glamanand Supermodel Confirms The Miss Earth India Franchise Renunciation

It had been speculated that Nikhil Anand, who gained the franchise of Miss Earth India last year might give over the franchise to the new team, the hearsays and rumours finally came to an end, when the new franchise holder, Pradeep Maithani, himself announced his venture on his social media handle. Meanwhile, the erstwhile National Director of Miss Earth India, Nikhil Anand has issued an official statement behind this incident, exclusively to Angelopedia.

Nikhil Anand, while talking to the Angelopedia team stated: "It was amazing being associated with Miss Earth organization. And thanks to all the Indians and Filipinos for all the love and support. I will be glad enough to associate again with Miss Earth organization in future. Looking forward to bring few exciting things this year."

Nikhil Anand also acquired the franchise of Miss International India last year, wherein he handpicked Supriya Aiman to represent India at Miss International 2015. Whether Nikhil still holds the franchise of Miss International India, is still a mystery, but it seems that the young gentleman might take over the Miss Earth franchise in future.

The new franchise holder of Miss Earth India, Pradeep Maithani meanwhile has publically announced that he is looking forward to the journey of Miss Earth India 2016. Pradeep is also reportedly associated to the Miss Earth Singapore Team. Pradeep on his official social media handle expressed his feelings, as he wrote: “Organizing Miss Earth India 2016. From technology entrepreneur to conducting a beauty peagent, I cherish the changes. Proud to be on my Growbiz & Prospurs team which is ready to rock Indian sub-continent in 2016. Registration is coming up soon. Comments to improve logo OR deliver an innovative event are welcome.”

India last placed at Miss Earth in 2010 whereby Nicole Faria, Miss Earth India 2010 emerged victorious in the quest of crown. Since then, India has been failing to make a cut at Miss Earth despite of sending gorgeous and talented ladies like Alankrita Sahai, Shobhita Dhulipala and Hasleen Kaur.
