The mega finale of Showstars Spain 2017 was held on 30th April 2017, and Noemi Sartal was crowned as the Miss Earth Spain 2017. Well, slight change over here it seems, as Noemi has been stripped of her title by the Showstar Spain Organisation, official franchise holder of Miss Earth in Spain.
The announcement was made by the official organisation of Showstars Spain, and the reason for Noemi’s dethronement is stated to be her conflicting schedules with her modelling career and duties as Miss Earth Spain 2017, and violation of certain rules and regulations of the organisation. After Noemi’s dethronement, the second runner-up of Showstars Spain 2017, Ainara de Santamaría Villamor from Cantabria has now been declared as the new Miss Earth Spain 2017.

Ainara will now represent Spain at the Miss Earth 2017 pageant to be held later this year. Standing tall at 178cm, Ainara is a student of Psychology and is a model by profession. Kick boxing and drawing are her favourite hobbies. The beauty abides by the motto, "If you can dream it, you can do it".
Showstars Spain is an annual national pageant held in Spain to select representatives for Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental pageant. Earlier the representative of Miss Earth in Spain was selected by the Miss Spain Organisation.

In 2011, the franchise was passed on to Miss Tierra Spain Organisation. Since 2017, the franchise was passed on to Showstars Spain headed by Julio Cesar Battaglia.
