Nulle Josephsen from Nuuk, Greenland has been declared as the Miss Earth Greenland 2015. She will be participating at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant to be held at Marx Halle in Vienna, Austria in December 2015. This is going to be the first time for Greenland at the Miss Earth pageant. Nulle Josephsen will be representing Greenland after almost 28 years of the debut of the territory in international pageantry.

Greenland might get considered as a weak sash at the Miss Earth pageant, given the fact that the country does not have any strong international pageant history. Miss Greenland 1992, Laali Lyberth was the last winner of Miss Greenland, after which the pageant was closed due to reasons unknown. In the 6 years of Miss Greenland’s participation in Miss Universe and Miss World, there was no placement for the country.
Nulle’s weak sash may not be of much help in the Miss Earth 2015 pageant, as this year’s batch looks really competitive and strong. Angela Bonilla from Ecuador, Estefania Muñoz from Colombia, Danielle Wong from Malaysia and Angelia Ong from Philippines are some of the strongest contestants. For the first time Miss Earth pageant will take place in Europe and the reigning Miss Earth, Jamie Herrell will pass on her crown to her successor at the end of the coronation night.
