Mexico is approximately a week away to crown its representative for the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2017 finale is scheduled to be held on 12th March 2017, and at the conclusion of the finale, the reigning queen Kristal Silva from Tamaulipas will pass on her crown to her successor. A total of 32 contestants are vying for the title this year.

The delegates recently had an official photoshoot wherein all the girls donned shimmery bronze swimsuits. The theme was bronze gold, and everything, from the background to the accessories to outfit to make-up, everything about the photoshoot was tainted in bronze. The girls looked mind blowingly gorgeous, and we found it really difficult to take our eyes off the beauties. The National Director of Nuestra Belleza Mexico, Lupita Jones, recently revealed that this year the contestants were given a surprise upon arrival. All the girls were asked to wash their face and show their natural beauty. With zero make-up, no false lashes and with nothing concealed, the girls were welcomed to the pageant. The reason behind this was to make the girls feel confident and secure in their natural form.

The concept of the pageant has been changed into more dynamic for the contestants to appear well before the public, with a strong project in hand. The contestants will now have to meet several challenges, which will prepare them more for the gala finale.

Lupita reveal, that of course it will be about beauty, but this year the pageant will also be about a representative who can inspire women and empower them in the course of life. The Organisation is looking for an ambassador who has a message to give to the youth and set an example for the country.
