Desy Asnawati, first runner-up Miss Global Indonesia 2020, was next in line to the crown but could not take on the responsibilities because she already has work contract abroad. Therefore, Olivia who held the second runner-up title, was appointed as the new Miss Global Indonesia 2020.

The organization also announced at the presentation that Indonesia continues to be the host country for Miss Global 2021 which will be held in September 2021.

Congratulations Olivia!
