Miss Earth Puerto Rico organization hosted the 2022 edition of the national pageant on 20th January 2022 where delegates from all over the country competed for the coveted crown and an opportunity to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Earth 2022. At the end of the event finale, Paulina Avilés Feshold was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022. She succeeded Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 Cristina Mariel Rios for the title.

Paulina is student of architecture, focusing on environmental design. Not new to the world of pageantry, Feshold won the Miss Earth Carolina 2022 title earlier and had been preparing for the national pageant for a long time. The diva says,” Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.” Paulina is a fitness enthusiast and can often be found in the gym working on her body.
