02 Jan 2016 | Angelopedia

It’s a huge year for Philippines. Completing all the Big 4 pageants in the span of two years is surely a gigantic mania. Philippines waited for its third Miss Universe crown for 42 years, hence celebration for their newly crowned queen is understandable. Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach has been immortalized as a doll by two of her Filipino fans.

Ian Mendajar, one of Pia's passionate followers, posted an Instagram photo of a doll wearing a blue gown and the Miss Universe crown, similar to Pia's outfit when she won the title on Sunday, December 20 in Las Vegas, stating: "Pia Wurtzbach gave me and all the Filipinos the best Christmas gift after winning the Miss Universe 2015 title and now it’s my time to give her a Christmas gift.” The doll similarly wore the outfit of Pia during the pageant’s announcement of winners. Ian even put the iconic crown on the doll’s head to complete the look.

Ian has formerly created three other doll versions of Pia Wurtzbach prior to her win at Miss Universe pageant. This creation marks his fourth doll version of the Queen P as he calls her. The first doll version of Pia was instigated by Ian when she won the title of Miss Universe Philippines last March, followed by a doll wearing her national costume during the Binibining Pilipinas competition, and another doll dressed in a gown similar to what Pia wore during the Star Magic Ball last September.

Ian has also released a doll of Miss Universe 2012, first runner-up Janine Tugonon and Miss Globe 2015 Ann Lorraine Colis formerly.

In the meantime, another devoted fan, Oscar Antonio also shared his version of Pia dolls. The first doll wore a red gown similar to the Oliver Tolentino gown Pia wore in the preliminaries, while the other doll was dressed in a blue gown and the Miss Universe crown.

Aside from the doll, Pia was sketched by Disney artist, Jimmy Mulligan as a Disney princess last December 23. There are rumors that Pia Wurtzbach might work in the second season of Desney movie, “Frozen:2”. Jimmy even put the hashtag “#Frozen” in his caption. The site mentioned that “Disney-fied” Pia resembled Queen Elsa of Disney’s “Frozen.”
