In just one month, South Africa will crown the all new Miss South Africa 2017. The winner of Miss South Africa will represent the country at the Miss World 2017 as well as the Miss Universe 2017 pageants. The gala finale is scheduled to be held on 25th March 2017, and at the conclusion of the finale, the reigning Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene will pass on her crown to her successor.
This year, a total of 12 finalists are trying their luck for the title. Before the final showdown at the finale, the girls are qualifying through various Preliminary Rounds, including travel, activities, photoshoots etc. Talking about the photoshoot, the 12 girls recently had a classic official photoshoot, which was shot by Garreth Barclay Photography. Miss South Africa 2017 will be organized by the license holder Sun International in collaboration with Cell C. The winner of Miss South Africa 2017 will receive a cash prize, a car, an international holiday and other prizes in a package that exceeds 2 Million ZAR (equivalent to approximately USD 150,000). All the Top 12 finalists for 2017 will each receive a cash prize of 25,000 ZAR.
