Pimbongkod, in an interview, claimed of being a victim to favouritism. Pimbongkod vividly stated in her video that, the Miss Universe 2014 was planned event, and that the winner was pre decided. Right after the video was uploaded on YouTube, it went viral and engrossed annotations and remarks from people all over the internet.

Noyonita Lodh, Miss Universe India 2014, reacted on Pimbongkod’s statement, and posted on her Facebook page saying, “I disagree with miss THAILANDS opinion on many aspects. We were taken care of extremely well @missuniverse and I did not sense discrimination against myself or any of the girls .
Like most girls say that Paulina was already a decided winner , I don't see what's wrong in that as she completely deserved the crown .
The pageant was near perfect and though I would like to defend more points , I can understand miss thailands emotions.”
Miss Universe 2014, sure has been a ride of controversial incidences, ever since its commencement.
