Polina Popova was crowned Miss Russia 2017 at the conclusion of the magnificent finale held on 15th April 2017. The Russian beauty hailing from the Sverdlovsk region has now earned the right to represent Russia at the major international pageants. 21 year old Polina was born in Ekaterinburg. She lived in the Urals mountainous region most of her life but often travelled to places for her work.
The newly crowned Miss Russia speaks fluent English and is learning Chinese. Polina is an ardent lover of Tennis and loves cooking. One of the models who worked with Popova in China in 2013, Darya Sayapina, said, “Polina worked in Guangzhou for a long time, learnt Chinese and was planning to join a university in China as she went to her interviews in front of me.”

Popova later on confirmed this statement and admitted that she had wanted to study in China, now however her plans have changed and she plans to stay in Russia and study in Moscow. The beauty queen was awarded with a crown made of white gold, diamonds and pearls worth a million dollars. She was also awarded the prize money of 3 million rubles and a car.
The beauty is planning on saving her prize money, as according to Popova, she has quite a lot of savings from her work in Asia and Europe. Her future plan is to relocate to Moscow for her studies. What is interesting is to note that this is the third year that a girl from Ural has grabbed the title of Miss Russia. Talking about the Ural beauty, Popova said, “The whole of the Urals must be renowned because the beautiful Yana Dobrovolskaya was the winner last year and she represented Tyumen. It is very nice to know that Ural is recognized and celebrated.”
Year after year, Russia is crowning immensely talented and potential contenders for the international pageant, and this year as well the pageant has come up with a strong bet like Polina Popova. Her modelling experience and those killer features are a total head turner. What do you think?
