Pooja Priyanka was crowned as Miss World Fiji 2016 at the end of the gala night held on May 7’ 2016 at the The Grand Pacific Hotel, Suva, Fiji. At the same pageant Nanise Raboiliku was adjudged as first runner up, while Vika Fifita finished as second runner up. Pooja will now represent Fiji at the Miss World 2016 competition set to be held later this year.
The outgoing Miss World Fiji Brittany Hazelman passed the prestigious reign and crown to her successor Pooja at the end of the gala night.
Pooja Priyanka clinched the crown after defeating 9 other gorgeous finalists who competed at the pageant.

Prior to the finale, the Miss World Fiji Organisation announced the Miss World Fiji Talent 2016 winner, and the title was bagged by Pooja Priyanka.
Miss World Fiji 2016 pageant was a dazzling gala as the event saw a total number of twenty-one (10) finalists walked down the stage wearing glorious evening gowns and chic swimwear’s.
The Miss World Fiji 2016 Judges were - Stanley Simpson (Editor, Business Melanesia), Apakuki Nalawa (Founder/Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocal, Inside Out), Charlene Tafuna'i (Miss World Fiji 2014), Peter Espiritu (Artistic Director of the Oceania Dance Theatre at the University of the South Pacific), Brittany Hazelman (Miss World Fiji 2015) and Hupfeld Hoerder (Leading Fashion Designer who is responsible for Fiji’s National Costumes at the Miss World contest in 2015 and again in 2016).

The special guests for the evening were - Miss Pacific Islands 2015 - P.N.G's Abigail Havora, Miss Fiji - Pacific Islands 2015 - Zaira Begg, Former Miss World Fiji's, Entertainment from Oceania Dance Theater.
