At the conclusion of the grand coronation night of Puteri Indonesia 2019 held tonight at the Jakarta Convention centre, Indonesia, Frederika Alexis Cull was crowned the new queen by the outgoing Puteri Indonesia 2018 Sonia Fergina Citra. Frederika Alexis Cull will now represent Indonesia in Miss Universe 2019. The finale was indeed a grand affair which witnessed the reigning queens Catriona Gray, Valeria Vazquez and Mareim Claret Velazco in attendance.

Originally from Gold Coast, Queensland Frederika Alexis Cull currently lives in Jakarta. The 22-year-old Indonesian beauty stands 172 cm tall works with an animal shelter in Jakarta to save and protect abandoned pets. She is also associated with an NGO which provides education to underprivileged children before they enter public schools. With her accomplishments, she sure will be a strong contender in Miss Universe 2019. She was also a part of Angelopedia's Top 15 favourites competing for the title.

Puteri Indonesia Perdamaian 2019 aka Puteri Indonesia Runner-up: Maria Hostiana Napitupulu

As the finale began with a grand welcome of all the contestants along with the accomplished panel of jury as well as the VIP guests of the evening, Top 11 provinces were announced who moved further in the competition – West Jawa, North Sulawesi, Jakarta SCR 1, East Nusa Tenggara, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Riau Islands, Southeast Sulawesi, West Kalimantan, Jakarta SCR 2, North Sumatra.

Only six could move further in the competition which included Jesica Fitriana Martasari (West Jawa), Jolene Marie Cholock Rotinsulu (North Sulawesi), Frederika Alexis Cull (Jakarta SCR 1), Maria Hostiana Napitupulu (East Nusa Tenggara), Annisa Fitriana (West Sumatra) and Helvanda Herman (South Sumatra).

A number of special awards were also handed out to the contestants throughout the competition –
