Puteri Indonesia 2022, the 25th edition of the national pageant, is all set to be held in March 2022 as the winner will represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022. The pageant will also crown the representatives to the upcoming editions of Miss Supranational and Miss International.

For this year’s format, instead of the previous 39, there will be 45 contestants competing for Puteri Indonesia 2022 title as each regional group; Sumatra, Java, Lesser Sunda Islands, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Eastern Indonesia, will have one extra representative decided from the highest public vote.

As the organization has officially announced the regional finalists consisting of strong and dedicated divas from all over the country, one name that has been gathering a lot of attention is of Fiza Khan, as she was one of the favourites and most potential divas coming up for the title but unfortunately did not advance for the national pageant.

The pageant’s fans were taken aback after the announcements as they expected Fiza as one of the strongest contenders for this year. Fiza is a 19 year-old Pakistani-Indonesian model, represented by Studio47 and stands 175 cm tall. She is confident, strong, determined and focused with where she wants to invest her time and energy.

She was under the spotlight ever since her appearance at the auditions. Fiza is a strong, empowered woman and believes, spreads awareness and talks about major social issues including body positivity, menstrual health and believing in yourself. She is also a part of ‘Anatomy of She’, a movement which focuses on making feminine health and hygiene products accessible to all.

Despite of being a great orator and having a strong hold on advocacies, her exclusion from the finalists was a big disappointment but without losing any hopes, the fans and followers have been pouring in support and anticipating for the diva to come back stronger for the title as she comes across as an ideal choice to represent the country at an international platform.
