At the grand finale held a few hours ago, Helvanda Herman was crowned Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Selatan 2019 and will now represent Sumatera Selatan in Puteri Indonesia 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Selatan 2018 Berliana Permatasari.
Helvanda Herman performed with grace and elegance at the finale she was crowned the winner. Not new to the pageantry, her achievements also include 1st Runner-up Putri OMDA IPB 2017, 3rd Runner-up Putri Sriwijaya 2016, Gadis Pagar Alam 2016 and PPI Prov SumSel 2014. She also took to her official social media to reveal her happiness in a post, “Thank you to Allah who has given me the most beautiful gift for me and family, I know I am not a perfect human who still has a lot of flaws but I will try to show the optimal one. I would like to thank all Southern Sumatra community who have trusted me to bring the good name of South Sumatra.”

Second Runner-Up – Nanda Nadya
Fourteen gorgeous ladies competed for the grand finale as the delegates fought to win a place in the national competition of Puteri Indonesia 2019. Berliana Permatasari, fourth runner-up in Puteri Indonesia 2018 was also present to grace the occasion looking absolutely gorgeous in her blue gown.
As the finale started, fourteen were cut down to ten finalists who went through another rigorous round of selections while only five remained – Helvanda, Meta Aprilia, Baheta, Nanda Nadya and Fetri Amlika. As all these beauties gave a tough competition, only one emerged the winner.
