The grand coronation of Miss Scuba International 2019 will be hosted on 16th November 2019 at the Magellan Grand Ballroom, Sutera Harbour Resort where beauties from all over the world will compete for this ocean crown. Under the theme of ‘Saving the Oceans through Beauty’, the pageant aims to improve the marine condition and bring the focus on marine life and ocean conservation.

This year’s edition boasts of immensely gorgeous delegates who all are preparing hard for their stint in the finale but the gorgeous American beauty Rachel Cushman, a proud delegate of Miss Scuba International 2019 has become the crowd’s favourite and is emerging as the potential winner for the coveted international crown.

From Long Beach, California, Rachel has completed her schooling from Los Alamitos High and later studied Marine biology at California State University, Long Beach. The 28-year-old beauty has also worked as an Assistant Dive Safety Officer at Aquarium of the Pacific as she has pursued her scuba qualification in Instructor major in First Aid and Nitrox.

Apart from this, she is also a Brand Ambassador of SlipIns. She currently works as a Scuba Instructor at Ocean Gear SCUBA Center. She intends to encourage women across the country to get involved with the sport of SCUBA and to share their passion for protecting the ocean with everyday people.

This year’s edition of Miss Scuba International is an intensive 3-week competition held in Malaysia at Sipadan Mabul, where young women from over 25 nations represent their home country in ocean conservation using their skills to promote stewardship for a better ocean.
