The tall lass Rachel Louise Peters was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines on 30th April 2017. Rachel succeeds Bb Pilipinas 2016 Maxine Medina, and will now represent the country at the Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant. Rachel has reached the peak of her career through hard work and determination. Her positivity, love for human beings and grounded nature made her win the crown of success.

After being crowned as the winner, Rachel’s interesting interview came into notice and she once again enthralled us with her genuine answers. She looked wonderful with the dazzling crown and that winning smile on her face. In the interview she said, “I choose to celebrate individuality, it is my advocacy.”

“Yes, there’s always pressure...you can’t keep letting the pressure affect you, because it’s about having fun,” Peters added. “Being a beauty queen, you have to learn and you have to grow every day -- that's more what I'm trying to focus on rather than [people] just comparing me to Pia or Maxine.”

Peters further added, “Listening to such comparisons will just stop you from being who you are.” I’m all about celebrating my individuality. That’s my advocacy,” she said. She said she needs to prepare herself well for the beauty pageant and to work on some minute details to bring that crown home.

“But I’m hoping in the coming weeks I’ll have a week or two off-go to the beach, and then work begins again,” said Peters. We are moved by her quick yet genuine answers and want to wish the lady all the best for Miss Universe 2017 beauty Pageant.
