The 65th Miss Universe on its road to the finale and is slated to be held on 30th January 2017. The venue of the finale is Mall of Asia Arena and at the conclusion of the finale, Pia Wurtzbach of Philippines will crown her successor. Around 86 contestants are vying for the coveted title, but only one will qualify to be called the next Miss Universe.

The arrival of contestants marked the beginning of the pageant already. The delegates were recently busy primping, prepping and posturing while trying their evening gowns, bikinis, and shoes, during the registration and fitting. The registration and fitting allows the contestants to let the designers and stylists know if any alterations and adjustments are needed.

The registration and fitting took typically about five to six hours to complete. After finishing up with the process, the finalists will now embark upon their journey to the crown, starting with various official photoshoots, as part of their preliminary activities. Contestants will also participate in filming, hair and makeup trials, along with meeting the Miss Universe staff and crew. The stylists and artists will take care and focus on every single detail of the contestants’ makeup, hair and dress, and will also make sure that the finalists are comfortable in their attire and make-up.

Throughout the contest, the delegates will receive a number of beauty related perks. These gorgeous ladies are pretty much excited for the gala coronation night of Miss Universe 2016 slated to be held on January 30’ 2017.
