Maria Katrina Llegado was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 on 15th September 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. She represented the Philippines at Reina Hispanoameicana 2019 and was adjudged as the fifth runner-up at the end of the event finale.
Hailing from the Taguig City, Katrina recently launched a book titled, “The Cabalen Kitchen” during the grand opening of Cabalen Restaurant’s new branch at the Fishermall in Quezon City. Among the VIPs at the opening include Mayor Benhur Abalos, Margie Santos, QC BPLO Head; Vice Mayor Bernard Dela Cruz, Malabon; and lawyer Niño Casimiro, QC Legal Officer. During the launch, the diva mentioned that she feels honored and blessed that she has had the opportunity to represent the country at international stage and is looking forward to crown her successor soon.
The organization of Miss World Philippines started screening delegates for the competition on 3rd February 2021 at the Red Hotel Philippines. The diva was also the part of the panel judges who will be deciding the final divas who will move forward in the competition and compete for the national title and earning their chance to represent the Philippines at international pageants respectively.
“I am looking forward to crowning my successor and watching another young girl’s dream come true,” Llegado said. The diva also mentioned that after her reign she will be going back to her school and pursue her master’s degree in entrepreneurship soon and is looking forwards to the new adventures in 2021.
Katrina who made the Philippines proud with her performance at Reina Hispanoameicana 2019 stated that she is hoping to continue in investing her time on herself and inspiring others to find their dreams and goals too. The diva has an enchanting smile along with slender figure along with being and intellectual and determined woman.
Miss World Philippines organization has not yet revealed the dates for the finale but the diva is looking forward to crown her successor and believes that the divas present at the screening were strong, determined, and confident women who could be a dedicated representative for the Philippines.
