Reinado de El Salvador 2018 is all set to organize its grand finale on 16th June 2018 at the Fepade Auditorium, San Salvador in the second edition of the beauty pageant. The finalists will compete for the titles of Miss Universe El Salvador 2018 and Miss International El Salvador 2018 which will be crowned by Miss Universe El Salvador 2017 Alisson Abarca and Miss International 2017 Metzi Solano.

But before the finale, among the seven delegates for the national title, here is our favourite contestant who can definitely win the title of Reinado de El Salvador 2018 - Marisela de Montecristo.

The 25-year-old beauty is not new to the pageant world as she was also crowned Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013. She won with ahuge margin of over 10 million votes out of 32 million. Standing 179 cm tall, Marisela is definitely ‘in it to win it’!

Often considered as the ‘Salvadorian Halle Berry’ by the Latino community because of the striking physical resemblance, Marisela is also known for her social work for the    migrant children in Central America.

At the on-going pageant, Marisela also won Miss Figure Carpobolo 2018 while placing in the Top 4 of Miss Internet competition. While showing dedication and sincerity, Marisela is surely also having the time of her life. Her positive outlook and unending achievements at such an early age will definitely be her USP at the competition.

Marisela showed interest and sincere wish to represent her country at Miss Universe before too, in 2015. Her desire to represent the Central American Country was taken away after the controversial comments of the then owner of Miss Universe Organization Mr. Donal Trump on the Mexican immigrants.

His remarks about the Latino country led to the protest from the beauty queen as she did not participate in the pageant as a form of solidarity with her Mexican Peers. Looks like, it is a better late than never situation for the beauty queen.
