Riana Agatha Pangindian, after showing her potential at Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe Philippines, is all set to conquer the ‘world’ now as she was seen at the screening of Miss World Philippines 2020/21. From the Aces and Queens camp which has produced numerous beauty queens over the years, Riana sure seems determined and ready to fight this battle.
The 24-year-old stunning queen completed her graduation in 2018 from University of Santo Tomas. Being a major in Biological science, she is licensed to become a teacher in the same field. Riana is also a professional model.
Riana was 19-years-old when she participated in Miss Binibinig Philippinas 2016 and was placed at Top 15. Her aim while applying for the Binibining Philippinas 2016 was to gain experience to come and strive again which she achieved by representing Pasig in the upcoming competition.
Her aspiration to make a comeback in pageantry before being an educator was fulfilled as she came back to be a part of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. At the national pageant, with her stunning performance, Riana placed in the Top 16.
Riana has been using her social media platform to share information about her social projects which include environmental projects and sustainable living. She talks about newly launched projects through the social media and in one of the instances quoted, “Bawas Basura and Basura To Ayuda are their newly launched projects (together with their partner organizations) which aims to reduce fabric wastes and plastics and cartons by converting it into something more useful such as rags, foot mats, or in the case of #BasuraToAyuda — money. I personally think this is an incredible way to manage our trash and achieve sustainable living! I finally know where my old rugged clothes can go!”
With her understanding of how pageants work with her stint in Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe Philippines before starting her journey in Miss World Philippines, Riana will surely give a tough competition to the other delegates if she makes it through the screening.
