Rima Fakih Miss USA 2010 who was also a contestant at the Miss Universe 2010 finally speaks up on the Donald Trump issue. Rima Fakih is known as someone who is outspoken and speaks her mind on all sorts of issues. Recently during an interview with entertainment website, Perez Hilton, Rima spoke on the issue of the pageant with Donald Trump. . She said losing some contestants for the pageant this year because of Trump’s comments is “a shame.”

Weeks before the Miss USA 2015 pageant, Donald Trump made few negative remarks against the Mexican immigrants, stating they are “criminals, rapists and drug dealers”. Rima Fakih expressed her disappointment on the trail of walk out and withdrawals that followed the incident. “I like to emphasize the fact that Miss Universe Organization [has its] own entity,” Rima Fakih said in the interview. "I think that we need to do is kind of separate from Mr. Trump and try to show everyone what is Miss Universe/Miss USA is all about." She added.

 “It’s a shame. Because that’s what really get people going… I really want to pay it forward and show that we can definitely do it. Just because someone is helping fund the pageant does not mean that [it’s] exactly who we are.” said Rima. Here is the video of Rima Fakih’s interview, take a look...
