The finals of Miss Gabon 2015 pageant are scheduled to be held on April 25' 2015, when the reigning queen, Miss Universe Gabon 2014, Maggaly Nguema will crown her successor from amongst the eighteen finalists competing. The winner will go on to represent Gabon at Miss Universe 2015.
Whilst the winner will be crowned Miss Universe Gabon 2015, the runners-up will be crowned Miss World Gabon 2015, Miss Earth Gabon 2015, Miss Supranational Gabon 2015, and Miss International Gabon 2015, and will represent Gabon at Miss World 2015, Miss Earth 2015, Miss Supranational 2015 & Miss International 2015 pageants respectively.
The eighteen finalists have been selected after a round of nine provincial beauty contests organized by Miss Gabon organization, with two candidates shortlisted from each of the nine provinces viz. Estuaire, Haut-Ogooué, Moyen-Ogooué, Ngounié, Nyanga, Ogooué-Ivindo, Ogooué-Lolo, Ogooué-Maritime, and Woleu-Ntem.
The finalists competing are Rosemonde Okome, Nancy Nzouga, Yaya Pitty Anis, Antsy Mfoutou, Okome Zi-Mérila, Yasmine Manime , Noëlle Doufilou, Fenelle Mombo Mombo , Reine Ngotala, Sara Bouka Yapo, Sindiély Obone, Rolande Mbang Diba, Christelle Boukila, Desy Oyane, Odette Minko, Esther Madama, Ornella Obone, and Adama Oumarou.
Last year, Gabon was successful at Miss Supranational 2014 pageant held in Poland, when the reigning queen Maggaly Nguema finished as the second runner-up at the finals. The placement has not only made the Miss Gabon pageant more popular in the country, but has also raised the expectations of the Gabonese fans from the current lot of candidates. Gabon is looking forward to winning an international title in 2015!
