The Miss World Spain 2015 is all set to be held on October 25, 2015. The lucky winner will have the chance to represent her country at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held on 19 December 2015 at the Beauty Crown Grand Theatre in China, Sanya. The successor will be trained by reigning Miss Universe Spain who is a beauty expert.

A total number of 25 contestants are vying for the Miss World Spain 2015 title. Their names are: Nerea Muro, Angela González, Mireia Lalaguna, Angela Ponce, Laila Barzosa, Cristina Vicente, Andrea Martínez, María Tereza Galvez, Irene Alfageme, Ruth Legido, Pilar Seligman, José García, Natalia Ferrer, Cristina Gil, Olivia Alonso, Yohenys Flores, María Ruiz Ruiz, Indira Estrada, Carmen Pérez, Amaia Izar, Sarah Loinaz, Claudia Moyano, Elisabeth Borne, Victoria Alvarez, Claudia Moras.

In 2013, the Miss Spain pageant was separated into several pageants: Miss World Spain and Miss Spain. Due to economic problems in the country in 2011, the Miss España was bankrupt. Spain’s success at international pageants has been moderate with one Miss Universe title in 1974 and 3 Miss International titles in 1977, 1990 and 2008. They have never won Miss World.

In 2014 Lourdes Rodriguez (Miss World Spain 2014) failed to place at the Miss World. Also the country made to the top 5 at the Miss World three times with Maria del Carmen Fernández in 1961, Gloria María Valenciano in 1978 and in 1988; Susana de la Llave Varón.
