Rolene Strauss’s wedding was a trending topic at social media, as her fans were quite excited to look for her exclusive wedding pictures. YOU Magazine will be featuring Rolene Strauss’s wedding story on their magazine this February.

The YOU Magazine posted: “She may not be the reigning Miss World anymore, but she looked like royalty on her wedding day. Rolene Strauss was an exquisite bride as she said ‘I do’ to her longtime sweetheart D’Niel Strauss.

Rolene Strauss tied knot at the Lourensford Estate’s Laurent wedding venue in the Western Cape. The 23-year-old glided down the aisle in a bespoke gown by designer Casper Bosman. YOU Magazine will be featuring all the pictures of the guests who graced the wedding of Rolene Strauss.

Prior to her marriage, Rolene Strauss gushed to YOU last month: “It will be a real fairytale.”

Rolene shared a photo of the two at the altar on Facebook and Instagram, with a link to more photos from the big day on her website. Now that her reign is over, the brunette beauty is looking forward to finishing her medical studies at the University of the Free State and settling down to life as the new MRS Strauss.

Unfortunately, the two won’t be living together just yet. Rolene is now planning to move into a flat in Bloemfontein while D’Niel, who’s the director of an investment company, continues to be based in Stellenbosch. She’ll join him once she’s completed her studies.

Rolene added: “D’Niel will probably fly up on Thursdays and return on Sundays. The first two years of our marriage will be a commute. But that will be good because I’ll have to work hard. For the past two years he’s let me fly around and hoped I’d return. He was there from the start. I don’t know how I’d manage without him. He’s 10 years older than me, has so much wisdom and always helps me make decisions. I know I’m a good student but I’ll be with people two years younger than me. I hope they get to know me as Rolene and they won’t haveany preconceived ideas because I was Miss World.”
