Roshmitha Harimurthy who was crowned as Miss Universe India 2016 at the end of the scintillating gala that took place on 1st September 2016 at DOME, Mumbai, India, recently disclosed about her preparations for Miss Universe 2016.

The 22 years old girl who is a model and is currently pursuing her Masters in international business is pretty excited for the Miss Universe pageant as she has already started polishing her pageant skills.

On being asked about her prep for the pageant, the model revealed – “I will represent India, is in four months, I will be working out in full swing as we need to have good bodies. I have four months to prepare and I hope to improve myself holistically. I also hope to improve my Hindi, which has already became better since I went to Mumbai (Maharashtra). But during the transformation, I don't want to lose the parts of myself that made me win Miss Diva (Miss Universe India).”

She also speaks up about her qualities that made her win the enticing title of Miss Universe India 2016. She says – “I performed all the tasks — be it dancing, ramp walk or any other thing — with grace and confidence. Though I am an introvert, I was outspoken when I needed to be and voiced my views loud and clear.”

On being asked about her dreams the lady says – “I will focus on Miss Universe right now. As for Bollywood (Indian Cinema), not everyone is approached with an offer. If I do get a movie, I'd love to do it; otherwise I won't enter the field as I do not think it is my cup of tea. Ten years down the line, I want to be an entrepreneur and be seen not on the cover of a fashion magazine, but on a business magazine.”

Miss Universe 2016 will be the 65th Miss Universe pageant and is slated to be held on 30th January 2017 in Manila, Philippines. At the culmination of the pageant, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines will crown her successor.
