Roxanne Zhang crowned Miss Singapore International 2015

At the SWA 40th Charity Gala Dinner of Singapore, held at InterContinental Hotel on 15th August 2015, Roxanne Zhang was crowned as the new Miss Singapore International. Roxanne will now represent Singapore at the Miss International 2015 pageant scheduled to be held on November 5, 2015 at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

In the 55 years of history of Miss International pageant, only two Singaporean women have managed to enter the league of semi finalists, which was in the year 1960 and 1980. Singapore has been one of the dedicated countries at the Miss International pageant, having sent a delegate every year to the internationals since the year 1972. Roxanne will have the responsibility to not only perform well at the Miss International 2015 pageant, but to also make sure to give Singapore’s best performance ever at the pageant.

Roxanne’s hobbies include shopping, dancing and watching movies. Standing tall at a height of 5’7”, Roxanne battled out 10 other contestants to win the title of Miss Singapore International 2015 and was crowned by the outgoing queen Vannesa Sim. At the same event, Hannag Yung was adjudged first runner-up and Sharon Nadine was adjudged second runner-up. Roxanne is not new to the pageants. She previously competed at Miss Universe Singapore 2013 and this made her a crowd favourite at Miss Singapore International 2015 pageant. Do you think Roxanne can be Singapore’s first win at the Miss International pageant..??
